I dove Jackfish Alley in May 2026 as part of a liveaboard trip through Ras Mohamed National Park and the red sea.
The site is inside one of Egypt's most protected marine reserves at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula.
With 100 ft visibility and three distinct sections to work through, it's one of the better dives I've done in the Red Sea.
How We Got In

Jackfish Alley is only accessable by boat. You can do so by a liveaboard or day boat, either from Hurghada on the mainland or Sharm el-Sheikh on the Sinai coast.
Coordinates: 27.743267, 34.256755.
The Dive
My dive lasted 51 minutes, with a max depth of 84 ft and an average depth 44 ft. Visibility was 100 ft and water temp was 77°F.

The wall is porous with a lot of small crevices and two penetrable caves, each with their own separate entrance and exit.

The drop off on the outer edge pulls in stronger current and that's what brings the bigger animals in to feed. Get out there if you have the air for it.
