The Erojacks are an artificial reef north of Dania Pier, created in the 1960s as a beach erosion experiment.
Starting 100 yards off shore, they’re a super easy shore dive that almost anyone can do.
I went scuba spearfishing at this site in November of 2025, and made this guide for you to reference, so you can dive here on your own time!
How to Get There
At the time of making this post, the parking lot closest to the dive site entry point inside of Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park is down for construction.
Instead, you’ll need to park at the Dania Pier parking lot located at 300 N Beach Rd, Dania Beach, FL 33004 and walk over with your scuba diving gear. If tank weight is an issue, bring a cart!
If you're going to be spearfishing from this site, you'll need to enter the water from before this sign:

What You'll See
First off, you'll see piles of "jax" that span over 200 yards.
While they don't move, it's surprisngly entertaining swimming in line with them and watching how they stack on top of each other and the sea life inside.
These Jax are full of coral growth, attracting everything from small reef fish, to lobster, to nurse sharks.
Safety Considerations
The main safety consideration on this dive site is boat traffic. Although it's a simple shore dive, many decide to dive them from a boat, so expect boat traffic overhead.
Divers are required to use a dive flag when diving in Florida. While this should protect you from boats, unfortunately not everyone follows the rules.
